A new analysis suggests that shingles vaccines may reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes, with an 18% lower risk in vaccinated adults. The study, funded by GSK, found that those aged 50 and older had a 16% risk reduction. However, limitations exist as most data were from observational studies, and further research is needed to confirm these findings.
