Peter Marki-Zay, the mayor of Hodmezovasarhely, met with Ukraine’s ambassador to Budapest, Shandor Fedir, expressing solidarity with Ukraine and ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia. He praised the ambassador's courage and discussed the importance of peace and cooperation between Hungary and Ukraine.
