A study published in Circulation reveals that women who have experienced stalking or obtained restraining orders face significantly higher risks of heart disease and stroke. Following over 66,000 women for 20 years, it found a 41% increased risk for those stalked and a 70% increase for those with restraining orders. The research highlights the serious health implications of stalking, which affects many women and is often overlooked in medical studies. The authors call for better screening and support in healthcare to address this issue. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
