Switzerland and the EU are nearing an agreement on Switzerland's contributions to access the EU internal market. EU Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met in Bern to discuss the required cohesion payment. Despite being non-EU, Switzerland makes voluntary payments for partial market access.
