Hungary's exemption from US sanctions on Russian oil and gas will remain as long as Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and President Donald Trump are in office. Hungarian officials, including Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, have stated that the exemption is indefinite, despite reports of a one-year limit from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
