Ante Susnjar, the Croatian Minister of Economy, rejected the idea of transporting Russian oil through JANAF to Hungary and Slovakia but expressed readiness to assist with non-Russian oil. He highlighted that JANAF has the capacity to transport 15 million tons of oil annually, exceeding the combined capacity of Hungarian and Slovak refineries. Following recent disruptions in oil supply to Ukraine, the European Commission convened an extraordinary meeting to discuss the impacts and alternatives for fuel supply.
