A new report suggests that a frequent flyer tax in Europe could raise €64 billion and reduce aviation emissions by 21%. The tax would increase with each additional flight taken by an individual, targeting wealthy frequent flyers while keeping occasional flights affordable for lower-income groups. Supported by 90 organizations and 47 academics, the tax aims to address climate change and fund public transport and renewable energy initiatives. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
