Robert Fico, the Slovak Prime Minister, discussed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over the phone, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good relations between Slovakia and Ukraine despite differing views on some issues. Fico confirmed Slovakia's support for Ukraine's EU membership aspirations and both leaders agreed to meet in Yerevan for the European Political Community summit. They plan to continue cooperation through joint government meetings and mutual visits to Bratislava and Kyiv. Fico highlighted that no peace agreement with Russia can be made without Ukraine's approval. He also plans to visit Moscow in May for WWII commemorative events.
