Barcelona's Sagrada Familia basilica is nearing completion of its central tower, the Tower of Jesus Christ, which will be the tallest Christian church in Europe at 172 meters. The tower's completion is expected by the end of this year or early next year, with a cross and five other towers to be installed. Celebrations for architect Antoni Gaudí's centenary will take place next year, including a mass with Pope Leo XIV.
