Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger are withdrawing from the International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing it of selective justice and neocolonial repression. The juntas, which came to power through military coups, are seeking greater sovereignty and have formed closer ties with Russia, receiving military support and economic aid.
