Valdis Dombrovskis, the European economic commissioner, announced that Canada and the UK are interested in the EU's proposal for a compensation loan for Ukraine based on frozen Russian assets. He presented the loan proposal to G7 finance ministers, which could reach up to 185 billion euros over two years. Dombrovskis emphasized the need for other partners to contribute to Ukraine's support and financial guarantees for the IMF program.
