Gitanas Nauseda, the Lithuanian president, assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a phone call on November 5 that Lithuania is ready to assist Ukraine with gas supply before winter. They discussed Ukraine's energy situation and regional security risks, agreeing to create a joint working group for cooperation. Zelensky also offered Ukraine's support to Lithuania against hybrid threats from Belarus. The Lithuanian parliament has indicated readiness to support the reconstruction of the Trypillia power plant and consider involving the Klaipeda LNG terminal in gas supplies to Ukraine.
