Ukraine's ambassador to Budapest was summoned after a Hungarian man, József Sebestyén, died from injuries sustained during forced conscription by Ukrainian recruiters in Transcarpathia. Reports indicate he was beaten with iron bars and taken to a recruitment center. Despite having Hungarian citizenship, he was not exempt from conscription due to revoked legislation.
