Hims & Hers announced the launch of a cheaper, off-brand version of the weight-loss pill Wegovy, shortly after Novo Nordisk's reformulated product release. Novo Nordisk plans to sue Hims, claiming the new product is an unapproved knockoff. Despite FDA warnings, Hims continues to market its compounded medications, which are less regulated. The new pill will be priced at $49 for the first month and $99 thereafter, significantly lower than Novo's price.
