A metal detectorist discovered two Roman swords in the Cotswolds, leading to significant archaeological findings of a Roman settlement in Gloucestershire. Excavations suggest the presence of a Roman villa. The swords, identified by the Portable Antiquities Scheme, will be displayed at the Corinium Museum.
