Viktor Orbán could never be prime minister again–Tisza Party tables first amendment to Fundamental Law
Cikk tartalma röviden
Péter Magyar's campaign promise to amend the Fundamental Law to limit the prime minister's term to two has been proposed by the Tisza Party. The amendment would apply retroactively to Viktor Orbán, who has served five terms since 1998. The proposal also includes the repeal of the Sovereignty Protection Office and changes to the management of public-interest asset management foundations. Parliament is set to discuss these bills soon, marking the sixteenth amendment to the Fundamental Law since its adoption in 2011.
