Michael Smuss, a 99-year-old Holocaust survivor and fighter in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, has passed away in Israel. He participated in the uprising as a teenager, survived concentration camps, and later became an artist and educator. His contributions were recognized by the German and Polish embassies in Israel. Despite conflicting reports about the last surviving fighter of the uprising, Smuss's legacy in Holocaust education endures.
