Half of the EU's member states do not have official content flagging groups as required by the Digital Services Act (DSA) to combat illegal online content. As of now, 13 out of 27 EU countries have appointed these 'trusted flaggers' to report illegal content. The European Commission is preparing guidelines to assist in the appointment process and ensure compliance with the DSA, while also monitoring non-compliance among platforms like X, TikTok, and Aliexpress.
