Researchers at Kyushu University found that Arctic temperatures are rising faster than predicted due to a modelling error in climate models regarding Arctic clouds. These clouds, which contain both ice and liquid water, trap heat in winter, leading to accelerated warming. Current models underestimate today's warming and overestimate future warming.
