Oulu, Finland, has been designated as the European Capital of Culture for 2026, succeeding Nova Gorica and Gorizia in Slovenia and Chemnitz in Germany. The year-long program will focus on climate change and cultural events, including the Climate Clock art trail, Nallikari SnowFest, Frozen People music festival, and the Lumo Art & Tech Festival.
