Sixteen states have sued the Trump administration over its proposal to allow the sale of forced-reset triggers for semiautomatic rifles, arguing it violates federal laws and could worsen gun violence. The lawsuit was filed in Maryland and is led by attorneys general from Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey, with support from other Democratic-affiliated states. The manufacturer, Rare Breed Triggers, claims misclassification by the ATF and has reached a settlement allowing sales to continue under certain conditions. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
